TIP: Tighten Your Fuel Cap

If you do not tighten your fuel cap until it clicks at least once, you may get an engine check light or message on your instrument panel or MID display.  If this occurs, shut your vehicle off, loosen the fuel cap, re-tighten it until it clicks at least once, and then drive as normal.  Your engine check light or message should go off after several days.  For additional details on this, refer to your Quick Start Guide (under MID/mirrors), owner's manual, or call the service department.  Why not be certain: tighten it 3-4 clicks when you fill up.
