A Photography Exhibition by Tim Ellis - May 1 – June 25, 2007Flatirons Acura is proud to present a special documentary exhibition by Tim Ellis, a portrait & fine art photographer from New Orleans now living in Longmont, Colorado. After evacuating his family from New Orleans to the Front Range of Northern Colorado because of Hurricane Katrina, he opened “French Quarter Photography” Portrait Studio and Fine Art Gallery in downtown Longmont.He loves his new home in Colorado but is also committed to his hometown of New Orleans and the rebuilding efforts still going on. Tim grew up steeped in a New Orleans culture where the music, food, art and colorful history are characters in everyday life……where the sacred and the carnal are strange but comfortable bedfellows. That culture is what he brings to Colorado with his colorful style of photography.
