New Artwork in Progress

I have begun work on a new series of photographs.  Each will be presented with original poetry I wrote and calligraphed.  The photo and poem will be matted and framed together as a single work.

The creative process is quite dynamic. The poem is inspired by the germ of visual (photographic) idea.  The visual idea is not always complete before I begin the poem. As the process moves along, the inspiration becomes reciprical: each feeds the other.  The photos are all carefully staged and meticulously organized.  More later.  My art blog can be found HERE .  The photo that goes with this poem can be found there.  rv
