To Play an iPod

The new 2009 TSX audio system can operate audio files on the iPod with the same controls used for the disc player. The iPod can be connected to the USB cable in the console by using a dock connector and pressing the AUX button in the audio controls on the dash.

NOTE: If you do not have one of the compatible iPods listed below, or if you have another brand of MP3 player, you can still play the music on your MP3 by plugging it into the AUX input jack (rather than the USB port) located in the console and pressing AUX on the audio controls.  But you will not be able to control the music selections using the TSX audio controls.  You will need to use the controls on the MP3 player.

NOTE:  The iPod will be recharged with the ignition switch in the Accessory (I) or ON (II) position.

NOTE: Using the USB port, the system will only play songs stored on the iPod with iTunes (Registered trademarks owned by Apple Inc.

Nano - 2nd generation Ver. 1.1.2 or more

Nano - 3rd generation Ver. 1.0 or more

Touch - ver. 1.0 or more
