2007 Acura MDX - Emergency Tools

This photo shows the tool area with its door open.  The lug wrench, jack handle and towing hook are secured to the door.  The Jack is secured to the floor, to the right and behind the door.  Turn its end bracket to loosen it.  You may need to use the hook end of the jack handle by turning it counter-clockwise.   See page 419-424 in the owner's manual.  The towing hook (standing on the right) is for use when the vehicle is stuck.  It is inserted in the front bumper ( see the rectangular door in the center of the photo below).  Refer to page 434-435 in the owner's manual for detailed instructions.

I found that the rear tool access door does not come off easily.  You may need to finesse it a bit.
